Improv TShirt Quilt Finished!

Yea Baby!  Love this Tshirt Quilt!

I've wanted to sew a generic tshirt quilt for awhile now.
I'm glad I took this opportunity to do it!

Brent said, "WOW!  that was quick; must've been easy!"  Nothing like 50 years of experience to back you up.   :-)

Have a Creative Day, Y'All!

  1. I love it! I have come to love these freestyle improv quilts way more than the traditional, patterned ones. Blaze that trail, Girl!

    1. I have more fabric than I will ever use in my lifetime. I'm thinking of easier quilts all the time. This one was so much fun to sew. Had it been a fabric other than knit, I would have quilted it closer. I didn't want to lose the softness of the knit with stiff quilting.

  2. What did you use for a backing? Is there batting? Did you use interfacing on the T-shirts? Do many questions!!?? Love it and want to give it a try

  3. Beautiful, so so modern looking! I still have Tony’s tie-dyed t-shirts, waiting for the day to make quilts for the kids. I like the look of this style much more than the traditional memorial t-shirt quilts.

  4. It looks wonderful! No wonder you loved doing each day's work. This is just great, and I think would change the way I made t-shirt quilts out of the designs on them, too.
