Live Oaks are a popular tree in Houston. As a native species they can withstand poor soil and drought. They grow to phenomenal heights and widths. Many older neighborhoods have gracious old beauties lining the avenues around their homes.
On my walk this week I noticed some wonderful live oak trees. I took the opportunity to photograph them to share with you.
Notice how the fence makers took care to honor the tree with their fence. I love their solutions!
