I sewed something I don't often sew last night. I took all the small scraps from my coins quilt and immediately sewed them into 3 large pieces of patchwork fabric.
Heavenly Stars! No loose scraps for the scrap basket.
What a Concept!!
I'm going to contemplate how to finish them before I just jump off the cliff with them.
Do you have any ideas?
I would want to sell the finished pieces.

My first thought was "Heavenly stars!" Put some stars in them. If you want three separate pieces, I'm not sure how that would work, though. They'll make great table toppers - night stand quilts, etc. Or just a piece of art to hang on the wall.
ReplyDeleteWhat about a quilted table runner? Or add some vintage linens or lace to the ends and make two runners. Or a bed runner (probably not enough for that, though).
ReplyDeleteFinally! These are what I think you should sell all by themselves, only in half yards or yards. People could simply buy them and turn them into whatever project they wanted.
