Debra, I really enjoyed your walk through these fabric samples....especially because some years ago I also acquired some decorator samples and fabrics and have been mulling over in my mind about what to do with them. I will be watching you closely to see what you do because I am open to ideas! I already make up a small wall hanging size top with small solid pieces but haven't quilted it yet...anyhow, I like where you're going with this project and am totally interested! I also like your emphasis on keeping it simple because yes, many of these fabrics are just so gorgeous and can really hold their own.
After sleeping on my ideas last night, I think I am going to skip the murky panels and jump right to the bedspread. Life is too short to sew ugly fabrics! I really need to make a big sign & stick to that motto. I have a tshirt commission and then it's guest room bedspread time! (along with the angel tree quilts sprinkled in)
