I've been commissioned by a brother to sew a memorial quilt for his nephew honoring his sister who died from Lupus. The nephew is 14 years old and the quilt will be given to him on Mother's Day. It's going to be so personal and special; but, it makes me incredibly sad to work on it.
Yes, that would be sad. She was really beautiful, wasn't she? I know he will treasure it.
ReplyDeleteAgree, this will be sad to work on. Perhaps the sister will be looking over your shoulder as you work. What a special, special gift you are making. The recipient will treasure it always. But no pressure...;-)
