The daughter from the Plaid Memorial quilt told me her mom is having a hard time with her husband’s death. I sewed some little shirt scraps for the ends of this scarf for her. Maybe it will bring her some comfort.
Such a sweet idea, Debra. If I'd saved any of Paul's shirts, I'd have you make me one, too. =) Whatever I saved went to my sons, though, and is long gone now. I do keep patching his old sweat pants. =) Not quite the same, but I like to wear them.
