Nineteen pieces of clothing are starting their new life as a comfy quilt!
Some, like the blotchy blue fabric, have been waiting since the 1980s for another chance at life! I'm surprised so many actual pieces of clothing were used. I didn't realize it was so many until I counted them. It's gratifying to see them repurposed.
The back is sewn from shirts, pants and a scarf with dark backgrounds. Really cozy!
Leftovers are headed to the next quilt! Hope to get a healthy start on it today.

ReplyDeleteI love that sentence. I am a big fan of upcycling clothing into quilts. Yours looks amazing. Such nice bright colours which all work together.
